HSE Advisor
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health and Safety Advisor to support our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on and implementing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring site compliance with all relevant legislation and best practices.
• Location: UK wide field based role with occasional visits to the HQ - London Office and other sites & locations.

Job Summary:
The HSE Advisor will be responsible for promoting a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across various projects. This role ensures compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and industry best practices. The HSE Advisor will provide expert advice, training, and support to operational and Construction teams to minimize risk and enhance safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and Contractor reviews.
• Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors.
• Review project HSE documentation and Contractor RAMS
• Support the development and implementation of HSE improvement initiatives.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and communication.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
Qualifications:
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential).
• Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Experience in the Utilities Industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and health and safety management systems.
