Minimum Requirements
Preferably candidates with experience in Brownfield projects.
10 years’ experience in SHES in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Technical and Business Skills
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
Knowledge of relevant SHES management systems and programs
Provides SHES leadership, governance and assurance for the South Train 4 & 6 Restoration Project.
Leads implementation of company SHES Management Systems and provides direction to Project Management, EPC Contractors and SHES teams to ensure safe delivery of all brownfield restoration activities while protecting people, assets, environment and business continuity.
Drives continual improvement, regulatory compliance, contractor performance and safety culture throughout all phases of project execution.
Provides SHES governance for a major brownfield LNG restoration project executed within an operating LNG facility involving:
SIMOPS, Shutdown Activities, Major Construction Interfaces, Process Safety, Permit to Work Governance, Energy Isolation, Heavy Lifting, Commissioning Preparation, Regulatory Compliance, Multiple EPC Contractors, Workforce exceeding several hundred personnel.
 
Key Job Accountabilities
Lead the Project SHES strategy and governance framework.
Ensure compliance with LNG Company SHES Management System and regulatory requirements.
Direct contractor SHES performance management and assurance programmes.
Provide SHES leadership to Project Management and Operations.
Lead strategic risk management and critical risk control verification.
Approve Project SHES Plans, procedures and assurance programmes.
Lead major incident investigations and organisational learning.
Develop SHES capability, succession planning and leadership coaching.
Drive workforce engagement, worker welfare and positive safety culture.
Promote continuous improvement and SHES excellence throughout project execution.
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in sciences, safety, health, environment security, or engineering
