Minimum Requirements
Responsible for implementing the Company project quality management program and ensuring the effective implementation of Contractor’s quality management system, during fabrication of jackets and topsides for NFPS Compression Projects.
The Head of Quality (Hazira) is responsible to supervise the quality activities at Karimun yard assisted by a site Quality team with the objective to meet the overall project objectives.
Key Job Accountabilities
Maintain interfaces with Yard Fabrication team to ensure that quality issues are resolved promptly and effectively
Coordinate with the Welding & NDE inspectors to ensure that welding related quality issues are identified, communicated and rectified
Liaise with Systems Completion team to ensure that inspection records are aligned with and support systems completion
Provide feedback on quality issues; expedite closure of lessons learned; provide feedback on quality performance generally
Actively participate in safety management programs including attendance at site safety walks and issuance of observation cards
Providing continual communication, reporting and close coordination with the Head of Quality (COMP2/5 & COMP3) and Site Manager in Hazira yard on the quality performance of the EPC Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors
Conduct other quality related tasks as directed by the Quality Division Manager
Manage site non-conformance and technical deviations in close collaboration with the Head of Quality and Site engineering team
Lessons Learned process to continuously capture quality learnings from fabrication activities and to use them to develop and optimise process or specification improvements
Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering
Additional quality, welding or NDE inspection related qualifications Knowledge and/or Experience
10 years’ experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
Knowledge of Industry standards
