Head of Quality (Assurance)

We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality (Assurance) to lead and manage quality assurance activities across major oil & gas projects from conceptual design through commissioning and handover to Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee quality performance across PMTs, contractors, vendors, subcontractors and third-party inspectors.
• Ensure quality requirements are incorporated into contracts, tenders and purchase orders.
• Manage project quality plans, surveillance programs, audits and non-conformance processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry codes and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement using KPIs, statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
• Coordinate with Start-up and Operations to ensure effective project handover and system completion.
• Coach and develop project teams and quality personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Qualification in Quality Improvement Processes and Quality Auditor Training/Certification.
• Minimum 10 years of quality experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including supervisory or oversight experience.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001, ISO 29001, ISO 17025, ASME, API and other relevant standards.
• Experience with large-scale operating organizations, projects, contractors and vendors.
• Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
