Our client is seeking an experienced Handover Lead (CP6S) to lead the development and implementation of completions philosophies and procedures, ensuring a smooth handover process from engineering through construction and mechanical completion, ready for operations.
 
The role will support systemization, scheduling, execution strategies, contractor procedure reviews, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, with the objective of maximizing onshore commissioning and optimizing offshore commissioning activities.
 
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the EPC Contractor in developing, building, and reviewing the System Completion Database.
Ensure the certification database remains up to date and support the resolution of deviations in coordination with project teams, contractors, and Engineering.
Support the database review process and provide the required project information for the creation of sub-system boundaries and systemization.
Support the allocation of tags and Quality Verification Documents (QVDs) according to the contractor’s scope, project priorities, and milestones.
Support the evaluation of Management of Change (MOC) boundaries and identify interfaces with sub-system boundaries and the certification process.
Support System Completion, Turnover, and Acceptance activities and assist in resolving issues affecting the handover process.
Support the EPC Contractor’s preservation team and ensure preservation activities are properly recorded and traceable within the System Completion Database.
Coordinate complex internal and external interfaces, including potential SIMOPS activities.
Provide guidance to walkdown teams on the planning and execution of walkdowns in accordance with project procedures.
Support the consistency and accuracy of check sheets, punch lists, exception reports, and readiness reports.
 
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience on large Oil & Gas projects in construction-related disciplines, including construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, or hook-up.
At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Advanced knowledge of turnover and acceptance systems and completions software, with strong experience in building completions databases.
Experience in developing, managing, and executing turnover and acceptance completions systems.
Experience in project completions and systemization, including check sheet development and allocation.
Experience preparing pre-commissioning and commissioning documentation, including commissioning procedures and method statements.
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety requirements related to major fabrication, transportation, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up.
Knowledge of offshore and onshore facilities and yard operations.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience working within large-scale operating organizations.
