Excellent opportunity for an experienced Gas Trader to join a leading Global Energy & Chemicals company in Vienna, Austria. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in the European gas markets, with deep knowledge of trading strategies, market fundamentals, and risk management within the EU energy landscape.

The Role:
- Trade natural gas across major European hubs (TTF, THE, NBP, CEGH, PSV, etc.) using a mix of physical and financial instruments to capture market opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.
- Develop, execute, and evaluate trading strategies in global gas markets (e.g., TTF, JKM, HH), managing exposures with full P&L accountability and adherence to risk limits.
- Structure and negotiate complex transactions involving transportation, storage, and flexibility products with fixed and floating price elements.
- Coordinate enabling agreements with internal stakeholders (Legal, Risk, Operations) and ensure accurate, timely reporting across all related processes.
- Monitor and interpret market developments, order flow, and price dynamics, providing insightful analysis to internal desks on fundamental and technical Price parameters.
- University degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or Economics.
- At least 9 years of professional experience in energy trading, with exposure to proprietary and/or structured trading.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering consistent and sustainable trading profits.
- Comprehensive understanding of European and global gas market dynamics, combined with proficiency in trading strategies, risk management, and fundamental analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with fluency in English
