VENUS PROJECT – FPSO TOPSIDE ROTATING ENGINEER 

Location: Paris, France / Singapore / Geoje, South Korea
Start: October 2026, subject to FID
Duration: 1–4 years, renewable
Status: Residential | Frequent offshore/FPSO missions

We are currently recruiting an experienced FPSO Topside Rotating Engineer to support the Venus Project, a major ultra-deepwater development designed to process approximately 160,000 BOPD, with extensive gas reinjection facilities and up to 40 subsea wells.
The successful candidate will support the FPSO Lead Rotating Engineer, providing technical and operational integration of rotating equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review detailed engineering documentation for pumps, compressors, turbines and associated rotating equipment.
  • Coordinate technical interfaces between vendors, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Manage vendor documentation, technical queries, deviations and participate in FATs.
  • Support equipment commissioning, pre-commissioning, installation, alignment and start-up.
  • Monitor equipment preservation, ITRs, punch lists and NCRs.
  • Support supplier evaluations, technical bid evaluations, reliability and performance optimisation.
  • Contribute to project reporting, schedules, risk management and change control.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs and technical audits.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' rotating equipment engineering/inspection experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' FPSO or comparable Oil & Gas experience.
  • Strong detailed design, vendor package and interface-management experience.
  • Proven FAT and technical bid evaluation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of API, ISO, ASME and international standards.
  • Experience supporting commissioning/pre-commissioning and system completion.
  • Fluent English; French advantageous.
