Formulation Technician II
$19 - $22/hr with medical benefits available at a cost
1 year initial contract with potential extension

Our client is seeking candidates with an understanding of the end-to-end processes for product development, complex formulation processing scale-up and lifecycle management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Progress the formulation engineering technical support in both existing and novel manufacturing technologies to maximize quality, capacity and efficiency outcomes during scale-up, and after launch, of new formulated products to commercial manufacture.
  • Assist the formulation engineers to evaluate new equipment and develop new formulation processing.
  • Contributes with the formulation engineer to stage the pilot plant trials and development.
  • Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots manufacturing equipment to produce agricultural crop protection products.
  • Operate premix/milling, vessel, and formulation workstations to meet production plans.
  • Ensure all operations comply with HSE&Q, ISO, and company standards, using proper protective equipment.
Skills and Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
  • Proven experience in technical position in formulation processing development or formulation manufacturing.
  • Continuous improvement understanding, process risk assessment and HSE excellence mindset.
  • Experience working in cross-functional organizations, transiting in a dynamic and uncertain environment ensuring effective and focused project delivery (on time and in budget).
  • Proven ability to work with multiple requests from different stakeholders.
  • Understand of the end-to-end processes for product development, complex formulation processing scale-up and lifecycle management.
  • Technical skills referenced to TCDS.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and understand chemical production processes.
  • Requires developed proficiency through detailed/intense job-related training and/or considerable on-the-job experience.
  • Should be well organized and have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to assist multiple project tasks.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge to progress activities.
  • Material handling experience
  • Basic processing skills : Weighing, calculating , and process documentation Forklift experience PPE experience
