We are looking for 2 Flow Assurance Engineers to work in Hampshire, England for 3 days a week WFH and 2 days a week in the office.
A Flow Assurance Engineer is required to support Eni’s worldwide oil and gas projects providing technical leadership within the Flow Assurance discipline. They will be part of the project engineering group based in Basingstoke (UK) and support the Flow Assurance activities in the different phases of the project, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for the several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives within the group.
The role may be also required to support Flow Assurance activities for CCUS projects. Activities will include the assessment and definition of CO₂ transportation systems, evaluation of operating
The main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
To prepare all the technical documentation related to Flow Assurance activities during the different phases of the Project, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and Contract package preparation, detailed engineering, and Operations.
To follow up Supplier Call for Tender & Selection (qualifications, clarifications, recommendations, etc.) when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
To review and approve FEED, Tender and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
Provide technical support to interface disciplines (Pipelines/Subsea, Process/Facilities, Operations) to ensure integrated solutions.
Qualifications
Extensive experience as a Flow Assurance Engineer throughout the various phases of project development (from concept development to execution) and handover to operations.
Specialized knowledge required:
Graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
Ability to identify, define, and analyse complex multiphase hydrocarbon transportation schemes.
Capability to perform technical review of Flow Assurance documentation prepared by team members, guaranteeing technical accuracy and full compliance with applicable standards, best practices, and work instructions.
Proficient usage of the following software: OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, Pipenet, Pipesim, Hysys, Unisim.
Familiarity with programming language such as Matlab, C++ and Phyton is an added benefit.
Organizational processes required:
Experience with Technical Audit and Design & Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID’s, Risk Assessment.
Ability to effectively interface and communicate with other staff, outside flow assurance specialists, shareholders, contractors, and management.
Ability to communicate well, literally, and vertically within the organization.
Full understanding of importance in planning and executing projects.
