Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London.

This position is within the Finance Department, reporting to the Financial Controller. This is a development opportunity where you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial reporting to the business and will also participate in the month end accounts process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing Annual Budgets, involving significant coordination with CFO/Business Directors/Department Heads/Local Country Finance teams
  • Preparing/Updating regular Forecasts (Monthly), and input into Group Reporting Tool
  • Participating in preparation/production/review of Monthly Management Accounts/Reporting
  • Monthly preparation and upload of overhead accrual & prepayment journals
  • Preparation of journals for data clean-up of relevant P&L and B/S accounts
  • Quarterly review of overhead costs with MD and department budget holders (Actuals/ Budgets/Forecasts)
  • Assisting with quarterly Actuals reporting to Group, includes input into Group Reporting Tool
  • Involvement with production/review of Group Business Reviews
  • CAPEX reporting to Group (Actuals/Budgets/Forecasts), using Group Reporting Tool
  • IT reporting to Group (Actuals/Budgets/Forecasts), using Group Reporting Tool
  • Providing ad hoc financial & analytical support to the BusinessJuder Finance Department objectives including involvement in ad hoc tasks when required
  • Development of tools , processes and reports for Finance and Cost Control departments

About You
We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

  • Part or Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and principles
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of Management Accounts
