Our client an Oil & Gas Operating Company is looking to hire operations & maintenance personnel
Carries out day to day preventive, corrective and break down maintenance activities on field facilities, surface production equipments and sand tracks in assigned field with adequate technical knowledge, covering oil/gas/water injection wells, oil and gas processing plants, water injection systems, water treatment plants, maintenance & pigging of various flow lines & transfer lines and maintenance of various types of valves. Uses workshop facilities and supervises lifting operations using lifting equipment and carries out sand clearance / excavation activities using man power and any other mechanical plant or equipment in assigned field.

* Carries out planned (preventive, predictive, routine and breakdown) maintenance activities on oil/gas/water injection wells, oil and gas processing plants, water injection systems, water treatment plants, various flow lines & transfer lines and for various types of valves and equipment in assigned field in accordance with set plans and standard procedures. This includes:
- Receives work order from supervisor and review equipment maintenance history.
- Prepares required work permit(s) and liaises with operations to release equipment.
- Inspects equipment to determine extent of repairs required.
- Prepares requisition for spares and materials and withdraws from local store or arrange delivery from main stores.
- Ensures pipe line pigging activities are met in coordination with operations.
- Dismantle, examine and determine plant/ equipment faulty components. Repairs or replaces damaged parts and reassemble plant/ equipment.
- Tests to ensure operability and reports activities to supervisor.
* Participates in major overhaul and shutdown maintenance activities as assigned by Operations Engineers. Includes carrying out shutdown preparation, data collection and condition monitoring duties as assigned.
* Carries out minor modification work for piping and fittings under close supervision. Produce schematics to enable updating and production of "as built" drawings.
* Ensures the provision of adequate supply of non stock materials, spares, consumable items in local stores and raises necessary documentation for issue of stock items and/or procurement of direct purchase items.
* Prepares hot, cold and other work permits, as required. Obtains necessary approval prior to commencing maintenance and repair activities.

Qualification & Experience

Completion of Secondary education (12 years) / Diploma in a mechanical Trade / Diploma in mechanical Engineering / Degree in science followed by minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
