Role: Facility Supervisor Location: Thurso – full time on site Minimum Requirement: The job holder will be responsible for applying facility supervision as necessary to deliver operations and operational maintenance tasks of varying risk and complexity. Responsibilities: Supervise facility/operational activities Act as building supervisor in facilities Support the Facility Manager in the day to day delivery of tasks and problem solving Review/prepare safe system of work and waste compliance documentation Participate in work scope and hazard reviews, work scheduling and interactions Monitor contractor performance Review work and apply STOP work principles as appropriate Assist in facility/project progress reporting Understand implications of changes to scope of work Participate in site emergency response and exercises as required Perform the responsibilities of management appointments relevant to post including, but not limited to: area waste officer, permit to work issuer, radiation protection supervisor (RPS), radioactive materials coordinator (RMC), building warden Manage Client staff as a line manage Essential: Plant & Industrial operation experience in a highly regulated environment Understanding of assay systems would be advantageous Knowledge and understanding of work control process and safe systems of work
