Location: Afungi, Mozambique (rotational assignment 28/28)

About the Project
Be part of a world-class LNG development in Mozambique. This large-scale onshore project includes LNG trains, condensate storage, marine facilities, utilities, and extensive early site infrastructure such as camps, airport, and road networks. The project will mobilise up to 15,000 personnel on site at peak and is backed by high-profile international stakeholders.
Your Role As a Facilities & Services Coordinator, you will support the onshore project delivery by ensuring efficient, safe and compliant support services across all DUAT-related operations and interfaces. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including EPC Contractors, Subcontractors and internal teams, to drive operational excellence, safety, and coordination of essential site services.

Your Role As a Facilities & Services Coordinator, you will support the onshore project delivery by ensuring efficient, safe and compliant support services across all DUAT-related operations and interfaces. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including EPC Contractors, Subcontractors and internal teams, to drive operational excellence, safety, and coordination of essential site services.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a strong safety culture and lead by example across all contractors and teams.
- Monitor, analyse and report contractor performance, identifying risks and proposing mitigation.
- Plan, coordinate and execute DUAT-related interface meetings and operational activities.
- Develop and implement control processes and reporting dashboards for DUAT services.
- Oversee day-to-day DUAT operations including accommodation, aviation, logistics, and life support services (fuel, water, food).
- Support development of strategic plans, operational processes and risk management.
- Coordinate with HSE teams to embed safety requirements into daily operations.
- Lead or contribute to workshops to capture lessons learned and drive improvement.
- Mentor and motivate peers across the project.
- Diploma or vocational training in a support services or similar discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in support services, with at least 10 years in related roles within the oil & gas industry.
- Solid understanding of support services for major EPC projects and their commercial/contracting aspects.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills, with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent English communication skills (Portuguese or French would be an advantage).
- Strong commitment to HSE and ability to work in a remote, challenging environment.
