POSITION TITLE: EPC & Civil Engineer
Position Overview
The EPC & Civil Engineer, will be in charge to define, manage and implement engineering & procurement execution plan, review, ensure timely issuance of deliverables related to engineering and procurement, during the tender and the project execution phase for platform facilities. He/She will be directly reporting to the Engineering Manager.
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
All personnel are also expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
Key Responsibilities & Activities
• Prepare the plan to manage the engineering and procurement work to be done in the tender/project stage (including 3rd party if required) and obtain management approval.
• Implement and drive the plan to achieve the results.
• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from design to commissioning.
• Ensure designs meet technical specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Manage 3rd party engineering support company (when applicable) in implementing the above plan and delivering results.
• Take a lead in engineering/ procurement coordination process and ensure interface between engineering/ procurement functions is well defined and executed smoothly.
• Take a lead in the review process of engineering and procurement deliverables to ensure complete and correct procurement inquiry.
• Interface with fabrication party (sub-cont./partner) with regard to engineering & procurement output.
• Identify risk/opportunity in the E/P/C phases of a project and define mitigation measures.
• Contribute to defining overall project execution plan, engineering and procurement plan, including input in establishing an overall EPCI schedule.
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and other specialists.
• Issue reports as required.
Requirements
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 5+ years of engineering experience in the oil and gas sector
• Significant EPC experience
• Project engineering skills
• Strong demonstrated leadership ability
• Well presented with excellent communication skills
• High level of professionalism, management, and leadership skills
• Goal oriented
Authority/Dimensions

• Operate according to Subsea 7's Management Principles
• Support standards and procedures for the relevant Function.
