Environmental Manager (Field-Based) Renewable Energy Construction – Solar & Wind Projects (New York State)
Location: Field-based across New York State (project-based assignments)
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + per diem + performance bonus + full benefits package
Sector: Renewable Energy Construction (Solar, Wind, Modular Installations)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to support the delivery of large-scale renewable energy construction projects across New York State, including solar farms, wind developments, and associated infrastructure works.
This organisation is a privately held, shareholder-backed construction business with a long-term focus on project delivery, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. Unlike highly corporate or short-term investment-driven environments, the company operates with a strong emphasis on long-term project success, stability, and empowered field delivery teams.
This is a true boots-on-the-ground role, embedded directly within active construction sites. The Environmental Manager will play a key role in ensuring compliance, protecting sensitive environments, and enabling safe and efficient project execution.
This is not a consultancy position, this is a hands-on construction site leadership role within live renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Requirements
Why This Role? This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact field environmental leadership role within the renewable energy construction sector.
You will work directly on the delivery of large-scale solar and wind infrastructure projects, playing a critical role in ensuring environmental compliance while enabling construction progress.
The business offers a stable, long-term project pipeline and an operationally focused culture, where environmental leadership is empowered at site level rather than constrained by layers of corporate bureaucracy.
Apply Now If you are an experienced field-based environmental professional with strong construction or EPC experience and are looking for a hands-on leadership role within the renewable energy sector, we would like to hear from you.
