Engineering Lead (Structural)

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead (Structural) to join a major offshore oil & gas project in Qatar.
The successful candidate will lead structural engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all engineering deliverables comply with international standards, company specifications, and project requirements from FEED through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering activities across FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning.
• Review and approve structural engineering deliverables, calculations, specifications, and design documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to EPC contractors and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with international engineering codes, industry standards, and company requirements.
• Manage engineering interfaces, project risks, planning, scheduling, and contractor performance.
• Support offshore installation activities and engineering handovers.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience.
• At least 4 years within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Previous experience leading structural engineering on major offshore capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, offshore platforms, international engineering standards, FEED and EPC execution.
• Experience managing EPC contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Offshore certification (T-BOSIET & H2S) is advantageous.
