We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead – ICSS to lead Instrument & Control Engineering activities for a major Oil & Gas project. The role will oversee the technical quality and timely delivery of the I&C scope, including field instrumentation, ICSS and third-party package interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee Instrument & Control Engineering activities in line with project specifications, standards and approved requirements.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of I&C engineering deliverables, including field activities and execution planning.
Provide technical guidance to EPC Contractors and drive the timely completion of I&C engineering activities.
Manage Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) purchase orders and coordinate with EPC Contractors and system vendors to ensure seamless system integration.
Monitor Contractor work plans, schedules and progress, identifying delays and supporting recovery plans.
Coordinate I&C activities with Electrical, Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural and other disciplines.
Provide I&C expertise during multidisciplinary workshops, technical reviews and project meetings.
Coordinate with key vendors, EPC Contractors and subcontractors to ensure technical and execution requirements are met.
Support brownfield interfaces and tie-ins with existing operating facilities.
Provide technical input on I&C issues and contribute to lessons learned and project improvements.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls within the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience with I&C design for offshore assets.
Strong knowledge of Instrumentation, Control and Safety systems, metering, vendor packages and relevant industry codes and standards.
Experience with ICSS and third-party system interfaces.
Experience in Pre-commissioning and Commissioning is required.
Experience with Smart Junction Box (JB) technology is desirable.
Strong understanding of engineering execution, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong organizational, planning, coordination and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software/tools.
