Job Title: Electrical Supervisor – Wind Projects                                                                                
Location: On-site (Nimr and Amin, Oman)
Contract Duration: Until November 2026
Contract Status: Single status
Working schedule: 5 working days per week/9hrs and 2 days off.
Job Overview:
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee the electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities for the wind turbines and associated infrastructure across the Nimr and Amin project sites. This role ensures compliance with technical specifications, project standards, and HSE requirements. The Electrical Supervisor will coordinate closely with the EPC contractor, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all electrical works.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of Electrical Works:
Oversee the installation of electrical components, including cabling, switchgear, transformers, and control panels for wind turbines.
Ensure proper installation and connection of power systems, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
Supervise electrical works for substations, grid interconnection facilities, electrical BOP (balance of plant), and related electrical works (excluding the substation and interconnection).
 
Testing and Commissioning:
Coordinate and supervise electrical testing and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance, continuity, and medium-voltage testing.
Verify proper functioning of electrical systems and troubleshoot any issues during the commissioning process.
 
Monitoring EPC Work:
Monitor the work of the EPC contractor and subcontractors to ensure adherence to the project scope and standards.
Ensure compliance with the Project Company's requirements and standards in alignment with the EPC contract and subcontractor obligations.
 
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. +5 years of relevant experience
Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.+8 years of relevant experience
 
Relevant years of experience in electrical installation and supervision, preferably in wind energy or large-scale renewable energy projects.
Proven experience with high-voltage systems, transformers, and grid interconnection is a plus but experience in major energy projects is essential.
Familiarity with international standards and regulations for electrical installations (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
