Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:

* Respond as appropriate to discipline related maintenance queries and support requests.

* Liaise with Technical Authorities to resolve technical queries in a timely manner.

* Oversee like for like repairs and coordinate MOC's under the direction of the TA's

* Continuously maintain assurance activities required to achieve and maintain the performance standards for safety critical equipment over the asset life cycle and escalate all assurance task non-conformances to the Technical Authority.

* Utilise Maximo/SAP to coordinate Work Orders, Requisitions and associated maintenance requirements.

* Ensure alignment of vendor scopes with the 7day, 28day and 90 day plan coordinating mobilisation of personnel and materials in a timely manner.

* Coordinate equipment repairs for relevant discipline area including process of despatch, vendor liaison and associated logistics.

* Responsible for the effective implementation and management of EX Equipment, maintenance and associated Risk based approach.

* Analyse and maintain equipment reliability data trends for optimisation of Maintenance equipment Strategies.

* Participate in RCA reviews as required by provide equipment history trends and technical input.

* Coordinate urgent material requisitions, including vendor liaison and associated logistics.

* Effectively manage campaign maintenance workscopes including shutdown related work scopes and NPAI interventions.

* Coordinate and provide input to vendor maintenance plans and vendor work pack process.

* Provide input to the asset Maintenance planning and scheduling process as required

* Provide input and support to Shutdown planning process as appropriate for discipline work scopes.

* Liaise closely with Engineering personnel on technical/ engineering queries and other related activities.

* Liaise closely with key vendors and contractors to ensure satisfactory level of service is continuously achieved.

* Act as Contract Focal Point for nominated Contracts.

* Participate in the development and continuous improvement of Maintenance Strategies and development of long-term equipment plans

* Development of discipline specific budgets and provide monthly stewardship

* Liaise closely with the Procurement and Warehouse Management functions as appropriate

* Manage Material Masters and liaise with Warehousing regarding Safety Stock, Slow Movers and the disposal process.

* Further develop Equipment Bill of Materials in discipline area

* Stand in for Maintenance Manager where required

* Effectively manage all interface and communications with other facility and onshore personnel as required.

* Contribute to the development of plant/equipment monitoring tools and strategies, proactively monitor, review and analyse plant and equipment performance and provide feedback to Line Management, identifying obsolescence problems, opportunities to maximise production and performance and share best practice.

* Manage 'Lessons Learnt' capture, reporting and dissemination

* Responsible for management of special tools and equipment.

Experience & Qualifications:

* Electrical Engineering degree or HND/HNC with appropriate experience considered.

* Extensive experience in maintenance activities within the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industry.

* Detailed knowledge of legislation/regulations relevant to discipline.

* Demonstrable understanding of the training and competency requirements of Authorised Electrical Person and Responsible Electrical Person.

* Thorough knowledge of the range of offshore Process and Utility equipment on an oil and gas processing facility.

* In depth working knowledge of CMMS (Maximo preferred, but not essential).

* Strong HSE behaviours

* Excellent communicator with all levels of the offshore and onshore teams; comfortable with written, spoken or electronic media.
