Electrical Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to support electrical engineering activities across major industrial projects from engineering and construction through commissioning, start-up, and operational handover. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, maintainability, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support electrical engineering activities during engineering, commissioning, start-up, and handover phases.
• Conduct design reviews, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and technical assessments.
• Develop and implement reliability and surveillance programs for critical electrical systems.
• Review and supervise contractor, consultant, and vendor engineering activities.
• Support project tie-ins and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Support system optimization and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refining, or Energy sectors.
• Strong experience in electrical systems engineering, commissioning, start-up, and operations support.
• Experience working with EPC contractors and large-scale industrial facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
