Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Electrical Engineering Instructor/Assessor based in Aberdeen.

MAIN TASKS:
Delivery and assessment of all company Electrical engineering based training programmes to Awarding Body standards
In conjunction with the HR & Quality Assurance Manager assist in the Internal Verification process where appropriate
Progressive development of the Electrical engineering programme and the material associated with its delivery
In conjunction with the Training & Health & Safety Manager maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedures
Ensure all relevant evidence of learning is accurately and correctly documented and accurately completed for each delegate
Provide feedback and support to delegates on a one-to-one or group basis
Review course content and delivery methods on a regular basis
Assist in assessing, changing and offering suggestions for the improvement of Electrical engineering training programmes
Prepare and assist in Internal and External Audits
Be responsible for ensuring that all delegates under his / her supervision comply with company Health & Safety Procedures

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Industry electrical work related experience
Appropriate technical Electrical Apprenticeship Certificate
Knowledge of Electrical engineering and Maintenance in either offshore or onshore environment
Working knowledge and understanding of Electrical equipment and systems
Have a sound knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles
Working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work system
Communication skills
Planning and organisational skills
Numeracy, literacy and computing skills
Effective communication, both orally and in writing
