Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Milan, Italy

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for oil and gas facilities. The role covers all project phases, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant electrical engineering solutions in line with international standards. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve electrical designs for LV, MV, and HV power systems.
  • Review single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, grounding, and lighting layouts.
  • Evaluate and approve electrical equipment, vendor documents, and technical specifications.
  • Perform electrical studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination).
  • Support construction, installation, testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities.
  • Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Post-graduate experience in electrical engineering.
  • Offshore oil & gas project experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, ATEX standards.
  • Experience with electrical analysis software (e.g. ETAP, SKM, DigSILENT).
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
