Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Electrical Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Manage respective OPEX maintenance budget, ensuring effective cost control at all times
* Participate in Asset Planning & Scheduling meetings, ensuring gate compliance relating to electrical scopes of work
* Ensure scope preparation is progressed in accordance with Asset procedures and that the CMMS is always reflective of scope progress
* Active participation in technical improvements, innovations, and enhancements, to promote reliability and increased uptime of equipment
* Actively review maintenance backlog and participate in backlog reduction scopes of work to ensure Asset KPIs are met
* Actively review maintenance procedures and strategies to ensure maximised efficiencies and best working practices are adopted within the Asset
* Where required, participate in exercises such as RCAs, FMECAs and 5-Why's
* Where required, carry out discipline specific audits of CMMS and associated procedural documents to ensure alignment

Experience & Qualifications:
* Proven competence and capability in an offshore (FPSO) operations and engineering support role
* Strong technical understanding and safety awareness
* Work effectively within a multi-disciplined team
* Excellent and clear communication skills and the ability to articulate complex electrical issues
* Degree qualified in electrical engineering (preferred but not essential)
* BOSIET and offshore survival certification (preferred but not essential)
