About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced DST Completion Engineer to join a major exploration project in Suriname. This is a key residential position supporting the full lifecycle of Drill Stem Test (DST) operations—from engineering design and preparation through to execution follow-up and performance optimisation.

About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced DST Completion Engineer to join a major exploration project in Suriname. This is a key residential position supporting the full lifecycle of Drill Stem Test (DST) operations—from engineering design and preparation through to execution follow-up and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to the Exploration Engineering & Operations teams throughout the DST preparation cycle
- Ensure DST design readiness and conduct technical reviews with HQ
- Prepare detailed DST programs and ensure execution aligns with approved plans
- Identify deviations and manage them through formal Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Monitor DST performance and develop/maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) databases
- Lead lessons learned initiatives and continuous improvement processes
- Contribute to End of Well Reports (EOWR)
- Liaise with HQ on all DST-related engineering and operational matters
- Work closely with and support offshore DST Supervisors
- Coordinate DST service providers and equipment readiness in line with affiliate planning
- Lead technical studies required for DST preparation and execution
- Promote and implement departmental HSE objectives
- Ensure all completion and workover operations comply with company standards, statutory regulations, and environmental requirements
- Prepare and manage any required derogations in line with QHSE standards
- Support safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations
- Strong experience in DST engineering within exploration and offshore environments
- Proven track record in designing and executing DST programs
- Experience coordinating service companies and managing technical interfaces
- Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including performance tracking and optimisation
- High level of autonomy with excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to HSE and operational excellence
- Residential position based in Suriname
- 6 working days per week
- 8-hour workdays
- Services primarily performed at company offices, with close interaction with offshore teams
