Our client is delivering a two-stage EPC project at Wormington Compressor Station for National Gas's MCPD programme. The works include the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of a new 15MW gas turbine compressor station to replace existing compressor units and reduce emissions.
Our client is the principal contractor, supported by Kent for detailed engineering design, with the gas turbine and compressor package supplied directly by Baker Hughes (BH) under National Gas procurement.
The Document Control Centre (DCC) serves as the central information management and transmittal hub for the project, coordinating document exchange between our client (Principal Contractor), National Gas (Client), Kent (Designer), Baker Hughes (OEM gas turbine and compressor supplier), and a wide range of equipment and service providers across the supply chain.
To support project delivery, our client is looking to strengthen its DCC capability through the appointment of one or more Document Control professionals, with opportunities available at both Senior Document Controller and Document Controller level. The final team structure and allocation of responsibilities will be tailored to project requirements and the experience, skills and capabilities of successful applicants.
This is a contract position for an initial period of approximately 12 months. Subject to project requirements and performance, there is the potential for extensions beyond this period.
