Position: Doctor (Offshore)
Position Info:
Work Location: Offshore Operations Vessel
Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Azerbaijan Medical University graduation (Doctor’s diploma);
Work Experience:
At least 2 years’ experience in emergency medicine (reanimation, ambulance service or intensive care unit experience);
Offshore projects experience not less than 3 years (having abilities to conduct hygiene and sanitary inspection, medical trainings, alcohol and drug checks, medical records and reports keeping, working with electronic medical database, making medical inventories etc.);
Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian (preferred).
Other Skills/Certificates Required:
• Azerbaijan State Doctor’s license.
• ACLS / ATLS / BLS certificate.
Responsibilities:
Tightly collaborate with Health Coordinator who is a functional superior in Company;
Assure medical coverage for employees under his responsibility, including an effectively functioning chain of medical emergency management;
Ensure optimum health management by continuously assessing, monitoring and safeguarding the health of the employees under supervision of Company Health Coordinator;
Follow corporate and company documents under guidance of Company Health Coordinator;
Ensure proper reporting and records keeping through Program GIPSI and other reporting files under the guidance of Company Health Coordinators in operational or equivalent paper format available;
Carry out all necessary and required operations laid down in project #Hygiene Surveillance# document;
Attend Company required training programs;
Carry out health preventive activities constantly evaluating existing health risks within the unit concerned performing specific information campaign, specific immunization programs, applying the prevention and management of alcohol and drugs control program;
Perform a continuous monitoring of the state of health of the employees and temporarily exclude from the working activities those who are not fit to perform their duties;
Extend the Health Management System to sub-Contractors employees;
Regularly notify Company Health Coordinator about quantity of medicines, consumables and equipment in order to ensure timely supply request and delivery;
Ensure that Health Curative routine activities are available during work shifts;
Ensure 24 hours availability in case medical emergencies during a shift if such is required;
Ensure that Health administrative activities are carried out on daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
Maintain a day-to-day records of all health activities in medical facilities as per Company regulations;
Create a First Aid Team for emergency situation in line with Company first aid training program PRIIN;
Ensure proper management of medical waste according to standards and local laws and regulations;
Contribute actively to spreading and sharing of Corporate prevention programs assuring their implementation at the respective operating sites;
Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the workplace, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior and VMT (Vessel Management Team).
