Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: Ongoing Contract (Initial 1-Year Assignment)
Pay Rate: $41–$57/hour (based on experience)

Orion Group is seeking an experienced Digital UX/UI Designer to support our global pharmaceutical client's in-house creative agency. This role is ideal for a digital-first designer with a strong advertising agency background who enjoys creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across a variety of marketing channels.

The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional creative, account, and development teams to design engaging digital assets while ensuring consistency, usability, responsiveness, and adherence to modern UX/UI best practices. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys solving complex design challenges, and stays current with evolving digital design trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for websites, email campaigns, banner ads, social media, mobile applications, and other digital marketing assets.
  • Create responsive user interface designs that adapt seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, user flows, and interactive design concepts using Figma.
  • Apply UX research, usability principles, accessibility standards, and modern design patterns throughout the design process.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Developers, Account Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
  • Translate business objectives and user needs into clean, intuitive, and visually engaging interface designs.
  • Participate in design reviews, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and iterate designs based on business and user requirements.
  • Ensure brand consistency while maintaining high visual quality and attention to detail across all digital deliverables.
  • Stay informed on emerging UX/UI trends, design technologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve design quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Visual Communications, Interactive Design, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of UX/UI design experience supporting digital products or marketing initiatives.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within an advertising or creative agency environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital UX/UI design across multiple platforms and devices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced creative environment.
Required Skills
  • Expert proficiency with Figma
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD)
  • Responsive web and mobile design
  • User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) best practices
