Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international E&P Operator based in Central Europe. They are looking to maintain production at least at 2019 levels, replacing reserves, and maintaining cost efficiency. An integral part of this strategy requires E&P to be at the forefront of digital methods of capturing data, storing data, sharing data, analysing data, and taking appropriate action based on the analysis.

The Group E&P Digitalization Transformation Manager is responsible for defining the Digital Transformation Strategy and Roadmap, overseeing and coordinating the build-up of the required capabilities to deliver the Roadmap at the E&P Group-level and across all countries where E&P is present, thus helping to create sustainable competitive advantage for Group E&P.

Responsibilities

  • Define the overall Digital Transformation Strategy and Roadmap for all relevant countries and HQ
  • Define and help build the required digital people capabilities at E&P Group-level and Country-level
  • Benchmark digitalisation against relevant industry peers and identify the key gaps
  • Drive the implementation of the Digital Transformation Roadmap, proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues, managing risks, and reporting regularly the status of the projects to E&P Senior Management
  • Champion the implementation of new digital technology in E&P and ensure visibility of E&P digital programmes throughout Group at all levels in the organisation
  • Build and manage relationships with relevant key external vendors
  • Oversee the digital programme component of E&P budgets (monitor costs against budget and ensure that the Group gets the best deals possible from its procurements)
