Job Title: Design Engineer / Structural Engineer – Pipeline Design

Job Summary:

Structural Engineer will contribute to the structural and mechanical design of pipeline systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, calculating loads, designing supports, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare detailed design drawings, models, and calculations for pipeline supports, pipe racks, anchor blocks, and other related structures.
• Perform strength, stress, and load analysis of steel and concrete structures for pipeline systems.
• Ensure compliance with international design codes and client specifications.
• Collaborate with process, piping, and civil engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Assist and coordinate with CAD/BIM teams for drawing production.
• Participate in design reviews and technical evaluations.
• Review and approve vendor and subcontractor technical documentation related to structural components.
• Provide technical support during construction, including responding to site queries (RFIs).
• Prepare material take-offs and contribute to project cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in the pipeline design industry in a licensed company.
• Proficiency in engineering software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar.
• Strong understanding of materials used in pipeline infrastructure (steel, concrete, HDPE, etc.).
• Familiarity with international standards.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, layout drawings, and structural details.
• Strong teamwork, technical communication, and problem-solving skills.
