Deputy Cost Control & Finance Manager

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Cost Control Manager & Finance Interface Lead to support one of the world's largest LNG developments.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile international project, leading cost control activities across a multi-billion-dollar capital programme while acting as the key interface between Project Controls and Finance.

Location:    Maputo Mozambique
Duration:    Multiyear
Client:        Major Energy Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Cost Control Manager in leading the project cost control function.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and change management activities.
• Lead and mentor a team of Cost Controllers.
• Manage the interface between Cost Control and Finance, ensuring alignment on SAP, WBS structures, accounting and reporting.
• Oversee owners' costs, cash flow forecasting, invoice verification and financial governance.
• Support internal and external audits, partner reporting and project close-out activities.

We're keen to hear from professionals with:

• 10+ years' Cost Control experience within major Oil & Gas, LNG or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost engineering principles, budgeting, forecasting and project controls.
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within project cost teams.
• Experience working on international Joint Venture projects would be highly advantageous.
