Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Deck Yard HSE Supervisor to oversee and challenge contractor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance during deck fabrication, outfitting, assembly, and load-out activities. The role ensures full compliance with project HSE requirements, local regulations, and international best practices while promoting incident prevention and safe execution of works.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Deck Yard HSE Supervisor to oversee and challenge contractor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance during deck fabrication, outfitting, assembly, and load-out activities. The role ensures full compliance with project HSE requirements, local regulations, and international best practices while promoting incident prevention and safe execution of works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise HSE aspects of fabrication, welding, lifting, painting/blasting, and outfitting works.
- Verify implementation of HSE Plans, Method Statements, JSAs, and Permit-to-Work systems.
- Conduct site inspections, safety tours, and monitor high-risk activities.
- Support incident prevention, emergency preparedness, and lifting/load-out safety.
- Review HSE documentation, report findings, and track corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, yard management, and client representatives.
- Degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Science (or equivalent).
- HSE experience in oil & gas yards, offshore, or heavy industrial projects.
- Offshore experience
- Recognised HSE certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA).
- Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and incident investigation techniques.
