Cyber Security Analyst

Our Oil & Gas client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst for an initial 6-month contract based in Aberdeen.

Candidates should have a valid right to work in the UK and ideally be available immediately.

o Email gateway configuration and security alerts
o Phishing email analysis
o Running user awareness tests
o Management of incidents escalated from SOC
o Vulnerability management
o Endpoint security tooling configuration
o Emergent minor IS activities requiring security support
o Email security (DMARC)
o Web security consolidation
o Remote Access/ Privileged Remote Access
o Identity and Access Management configuration enhancements
o Endpoint security enhancements
o Continuous Security Control Validation deployment
o Attack Surface Management deployment
o Data Loss Prevention configurations

Experience & Qualifications:
* Proven track record of working within cyber security.
* Ability to write technical documents, HLDs / LLDs, for solutions.
* Demonstrable experience working with and understanding of:
o Web security technologies
o Email security technologies
o Endpoint security tool management
o Security best practices within Azure
o Activity Directory and Azure Active Directory Security
o Privileged remote access
o Data Loss Prevention technologies and techniques
* Degree or master's level qualification in IT related subject
* Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP
