 Crewing Coordinator – Offshore Cables
Location: Cherbourg, Manche, France
Contract Type: Contract
Rotation: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Start Date: April 2026
Hours: 12 hours per day

Overview

We are seeking two Crewing Coordinators to support offshore cable installation projects based in Cherbourg, France.
This role will involve coordinating personnel logistics, ensuring compliance with offshore certification requirements, and providing administrative support to offshore project teams. You will play a key role in ensuring crew members are correctly mobilised and all logistical arrangements are aligned with project schedules.

Key Responsibilities


Crew Certification & Compliance

  • Maintain and update personnel certification records in line with project and client requirements
  • Monitor certificate validity and ensure timely renewal of mandatory offshore and technical certifications
  • Maintain accurate and compliant crew documentation and records
Travel & Logistics Coordination
  • Arrange travel for project personnel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation
  • Prepare travel itineraries and ensure arrangements align with project mobilisation schedules
  • Coordinate personnel movements to support project operations
Administrative Support
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to offshore project teams
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and internal communications related to crew management
  • Maintain accurate records within internal systems
Local Logistics (France)
  • Coordinate local arrangements in France including accommodation, transportation, and local registrations
  • Liaise with local suppliers, service providers, and authorities when required
  • Support international personnel working on offshore cable projects in France
Requirements
  • Experience in crewing coordination, logistics, or personnel administration
  • Previous experience in offshore, marine, or technical project environments is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills
Language Requirements
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • French language skills are advantageous
