Our client, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, are looking for for a Cost Engineer to join their growing Newcastle office. The nature of our client's work is brownfield modifications to existing upstream assets in the North Sea.

The main responsibilities are ensuring the department had the correct processes and governance to deliver all projects effectively, provide consistency and accuracy of reporting both internally and externally, ensuring effective commercial management across a number of projects for a variety of different projects and clients. Regular duties include but not limited to;

* Extraction and Analysis of monthly cost data from financial system

* Preparation and submission of Internal and external cost reports.

* Preparation of monthly valuations and invoicing.

* Administration of company/Client PAAF procedure.

* Cost rates V Value rates analysis.

* Project Forecasting (ELF)

* Management of change - Maintenance of Registers - preparation of quotations.

* Month end provisions and internal cost value reconciliation.

* Reporting on turnover, margin, provisions, WIP, Aged debt for internal reviews.

* Preparation of final accounts.

* Weekly man-hour reports.

* Preparation of CTR's (Cost Time resources) and management of internal programme

* Management of Internal Cost transfers.

* Preparation and submission of Class 2 estimates
