We have a current opportunity for a Corporate Maintenance Planner on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Burlington, WA with a leading solar panel manufacturing company.

Summary of Position
The Corporate Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing maintenance activities across multiple sites within the organization. The Corporate Maintenance Planner is also responsible for implementing preventative maintenance plans, ensuring efficient communication between maintenance and operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support New Projects by implementing new equipment PMs and introduce into CMMS.
  • Understand the job well enough to describe what needs to be accomplished, estimate labor hours, tools, and resources needed to complete different work orders.
  • Standardized and prepare preventative maintenance plans and schedules that are in sync with the organization’s maintenance goals across all sites.
  • Act as the primary liaison person between maintenance and operations.
  • Lead communication between maintenance and other internal beneficiaries of maintenance work to ensure that everyone receives timely, efficient, and quality service.
  • Coordinate planned downtimes to reduce meantime between failures and minimize interference with production schedule.
  • Minimize the number of interruptions once work begins.
  • Support the sites in establishing Maintenance Workforce Job Goals and objectives.
  • Support Sites with consolidating spare parts to minimize inventory.
  • Leading global updates to CMMS.
  • Provide Constant training to all sites on CMMS.
  • Administrator for all Changes that take place across sites in CMMS.
  • Lead continuous improvement ideas on Preventative Maintenance Tasks.
  • Ensure Compliance with Controlled document process.
  • Keeper of all Maintenance Records across all sites.
  • Utilizing CMMS data, generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for each site on Maintenance KPIs.
  • Generate Dashboards highlighting equipment Maintenance status (i.e. MTBF, MTTR, Availability, PM Completion, etc.).


Additional Requirements:
  • Able to travel throughout Canada and USA 20% of the time.


Qualifications
Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner and provide direction to others.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them.
  • Computer skills in MS Office Platform (i.e. Excel, Power Point, etc.) and knowledge of various CMMS software.
  • Extensive Working Knowledge of CMMS systems.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical related planning experience within a high-volume fast-paced manufacturing environment.
