Control System Engineering Specialist

Job Purpose:
Provide expert control systems engineering support during EPC and startup phases, ensuring systems meet safety, reliability, operability, and lifecycle performance standards before handover to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead control systems engineering activities including design reviews, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
• Support commissioning, startup, and system optimization
• Ensure high standards of reliability, availability, and cybersecurity for control systems
• Develop surveillance programs and best practices for system performance
• Interface with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Supervise contractors and guide junior engineers
• Manage risk registers and mitigate new technology risks
• Support project tie-ins and high-risk commissioning activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas
• Strong expertise in Industrial Control Systems (DCS, PLC, Triconex, CCC)
• Experience in EPC / startup / commissioning phases
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
