We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Lead to support the pre- and post-award contract management activities for a major LNG capital project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on commercial and contract management activities related to a reimbursable contract, supporting the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of a major project involving damage assessment, demolition, engineering, procurement and construction.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage pre- and post-award commercial and contract management activities.
Manage all contractual aspects of engineering, procurement and construction contracts.
Prepare and manage contractual correspondence, notices and other commercial documentation.
Manage changes, variations and change orders in accordance with approved processes.
Identify contractual and commercial risks and provide appropriate mitigation strategies.
Provide timely contractual and commercial advice to the Project Management Team.
Support the development and implementation of value protection initiatives.
Prepare and contribute to regular commercial and contract performance reports.
Support tendering and procurement activities, ensuring a robust and streamlined contracting process.
Work closely with claims and dispute teams to support the effective management and resolution of claims and disputes.
Maintain effective working relationships with Project Management, Functional, Legal, Risk Management and other relevant teams.
Coordinate contract evaluations and end-of-contract close-out activities.
Support project leadership in achieving project objectives relating to safety, quality, cost and schedule.
Work effectively in a high-pressure project environment with significant capital expenditure and demanding execution schedules.
Promote continuous improvement and contribute to the implementation of effective contract and project execution practices.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Sciences, Communication, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a relevant business or commercial function.
At least 4 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory, acting supervisory or team/contractor oversight experience.
Experience working on major energy or Oil & Gas projects, particularly in a post-award contract management role.
Proven experience working with reimbursable contracts.
Hands-on experience managing contractors and subcontractors.
Strong experience in contractual correspondence, change orders, variations and commercial advice.
Experience supporting contract claims, disputes and resolution processes is desirable.
