Contracts Lead

We are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Lead to support a major LNG expansion project in Qatar.
The successful candidate will play a key role in post-award contract management activities for a multi-billion-dollar EPCC contract, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead hands-on post-award commercial and contract management activities
• Manage contractual correspondence, variations, and change orders
• Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support claims and dispute management activities
• Coordinate closely with PMT, Legal, Supply, and Risk Management teams
• Contribute to contract performance reporting and value protection initiatives
• Support contract close-out activities in line with company procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 4 years within Oil & Gas
• Strong experience in Lump Sum Major Energy Projects (post-award)
• Proven background in contractor management and commercial correspondence
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Claims/dispute resolution experience is an advantage
