Contracts Engineer

We are currently supporting a landmark LNG infrastructure development in the Middle East and seeking an experienced Contracts Engineer to join the project execution team in Muscat.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead contract and procurement activities during the execution phase of the LNG bunkering terminal project.
  • Manage the full tender lifecycle: prequalification, tendering, evaluation, award, and administration.
  • Provide expert contractual and commercial guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Drive progress with contractors, ensuring milestone adherence and managing variations or claims.
  • Liaise with JV partners and approval committees on contract submissions and decisions.
  • Maintain contractual records, payment schedules, and credit/liability statements.
  • Support audits, disputes, and negotiations while ensuring compliance with HSE and ICV policies.

Requirements:


  • Engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience in contract management within major EPC or O&M projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international construction contracts and Middle East market experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multicultural environments.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for contractor/vendor engagements..
