Contracts Administrator

A leading international engineering and project development company is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their dynamic team based in Basingstoke. This organisation plays a key role in delivering complex energy projects globally and is actively involved in driving the energy transition through innovative initiatives such as Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS), renewables, and hydrogen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Contract Holders and senior procurement personnel in managing post-award contract activities.
  • Attend handover, kick-off, and progress meetings, ensuring effective contract implementation.
  • Monitor contract KPIs including spend tracking and contract timelines.
  • Verify contractor compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and escalate irregularities or non-compliances during contract execution.
  • Gather performance feedback on contractors and support post-contract evaluations.
  • Assess change requests, disputes, and claims for compliance with contract terms.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned.
  • Support correspondence with contractors on contractual and commercial matters.
  • Maintain traceable and organised contract documentation.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in Contract Administration, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Engineering or another relevant discipline (preferred).
  • Contract Management certification is desirable.

  • Office location is a short walk from Basingstoke mainline station with free onsite parking.
  • The hybrid working policy enables up to 12 working days per month to be carried out remotely from within the UK.
  • This position is available on a PAYE basis only.
