Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Construction Supervisor based Offshore / Aberdeen. This has been released on a PAYE contract until April 2027.

Role overview
Construction lead for a critical Project scope safely managing a variety of contractors and SIMOPs to ensure quality, on-time delivery of the scope.
Key tasks / responsibilities
- Safety and compliance – ensuring delivery of the scope safely with no incidents
- Leadership – managing a variety of diverse personnel (both onshore and offshore) to deliver the Project on time and on schedule including being accountable for supervising the scope offshore
- Vendor engagement – early engagement with vendors prior to offshore scope commencing to ensure all risks are understood and mitigated prior to execution
- Logistics and planning – ensuring all materials and people required to execute the scope are available when required and that all issues are worked through in a timely manner
- Reporting and communication – providing progress reports to leadership team and co-ordination between various stakeholders to resolve conflicts or project changes
Skills, experience & attributes of candidate
- Strong communication and organisational skills and proficient in understanding and translating technical workpacks and compliance to engineering standards
- Proven leadership capabilities and experience of delivery of projects and brownfield modifications in an offshore environment
- Knowledge of fabrication and welding in an offshore environment is advisable, including quality control
- Previous experience in a leadership position in an offshore environment
- Valid BOSIET and MIST certificates and in date offshore medical
- Understanding of confined space entry is beneficial
