Construction Superintendent (Structural)

We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent – Structural to oversee the planning, preparation and execution of structural fabrication activities for a major offshore Oil & Gas project.
Work Location:  India - Hazira
Key Responsibilities
Oversee structural fabrication activities from yard operations through to load-out, ensuring safety, quality and schedule requirements are achieved.
Develop and monitor fabrication plans and ensure effective execution of the structural fabrication scope.
Supervise and control Contractor/Subcontractor activities related to structural fabrication and Mechanical Completion.
Ensure fabrication activities comply with project requirements, specifications, applicable codes and international standards.
Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.
Review deviations and ensure appropriate construction documentation and completion dossiers are maintained.
Monitor progress and quality, identify areas of concern and recommend corrective actions.
Review Contractor progress reports and highlight critical issues, delays and areas requiring attention.
Coordinate with Contractors/Subcontractors on Structural, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.
Participate in Risk Assessments, Pre-Job Meetings and technical meetings as required.
Work closely with Construction, Engineering, Quality and HSE teams to ensure effective project execution.
Ensure adequate resources and technical expertise are available to support fabrication activities.

Minimum Requirements
Diploma qualification.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a structural supervisory position involving large offshore decks, topsides or living quarters.
Experience working with multinational teams.
Good knowledge of project execution procedures and field management techniques, including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
Experience within Oil & Gas, EPC/contracting, service or heavy construction environments.
Good knowledge of relevant design standards, specifications, codes and safety requirements for fabrication, transportation, installation, brownfield execution and hook-up.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities and/or yard operations.
Understanding of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG facilities.
Experience working within large-scale project or operating organizations.
