Construction Superintendent (Piping)

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent (Piping) to oversee piping fabrication, installation and completion activities for a major offshore Oil & Gas project. The role will be responsible for ensuring safe, timely and efficient execution in line with project schedules, specifications and quality requirements.
Work Location: Overseas - India - Hazira

Responsibilities
Plan and manage piping fabrication and erection activities for offshore structures.
Ensure piping fabrication and installation activities meet HSE, Quality and Schedule requirements.
Ensure piping spool fabrication sequences are properly planned and coordinated.
Coordinate with Engineering to resolve site clashes and technical issues.
Supervise and control Contractor/Subcontractor activities related to piping fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning.
Ensure workmanship complies with relevant codes, standards, specifications and project requirements.
Direct piping installation and completion activities to minimize carry-over work.
Ensure piping is properly preserved in accordance with approved project specifications.
Monitor progress and quality, identify concerns and recommend corrective actions.
Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.
Coordinate with Contractors and Subcontractors and maintain effective communication with project construction, Quality and HSE teams.
Participate in Toolbox Talks, Risk Assessments and other site safety activities.

Minimum Requirements
Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 8 years of experience in large offshore decks, topsides or living quarters in a Piping Supervisory position.
Experience working with multinational teams.
Experience with exotic, GRE and carbon steel piping systems.
Experience in spool fabrication and installation.
Experience with piping completions, including line walks, hydrotesting, flushing/drying, reinstatement and flange management.
Experience with CRA clad piping.
Good knowledge of industry-standard work practices, codes and standards.
Familiarity with design standards, specifications and safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution and hook-up.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Strong communication and site problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated track record in construction safety.
