Role Overview:

The Construction Superintendent (Electrical) provides front-line technical and safety leadership to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient execution of electrical construction and installation activities. The role ensures compliance with all safety, quality, and technical standards while supporting the achievement of project milestones and mechanical completion targets.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in large-scale Oil & Gas construction projects, including fabrication, installation, and execution.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience or oversight of vendor/service personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, design standards, and execution practices.
  • Familiarity with offshore or onshore facilities, brownfield execution, and hook-up operations.
  • Experience in managing EPC contractor interfaces, safety, quality, and technical performance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multi-cultural teams.
Responsibilities
  1. Provide visible safety leadership, ensuring a strong safety culture and compliance across all electrical construction activities.
  2. Lead and support electrical installation and construction works to ensure adherence to project specifications and schedules.
  3. Review and provide input on electrical technical documents and drawings submitted by contractors.
  4. Ensure compliance with project policies, standards, and quality management systems.
  5. Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
  6. Collaborate with contractors to resolve technical and scheduling issues and mitigate delays.
  7. Verify that construction works are completed according to safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  8. Review contractors’ reports, analyze performance metrics, and validate progress updates.
  9. Ensure all inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning activities are properly documented and aligned with turnover requirements.
  10. Support project delivery from construction through mechanical completion, ensuring safe handover to commissioning.
