Construction Superintendent (E&IT)

We are currently looking for a Construction Superintendent (E&IT). Experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in a E&ITsupervisory position.
Purpose
Oversee the planning preparation and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform E&IT discipline requirements of the project from yard activities to load out ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded.
Ensure the constructability of the design is consistent with established Project Engineering Drawings and industry processes and standards, effectively manage issues and resolution through strong interfaces with both company and contractor teams delivering full alignment of the Fabrication execution.
Job Accountabilities

1. Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
2. Ensure that all piping are properly preserved as per approved project specs.
3. Share lessons learned and best practices with contractor.
4. Promote safe working environment by attending TBT , RA and being visible at site.
5. Direct all Piping installation and completion activity to ensure zero carry-over works upon leaving the yard
6. Manages and ensures successful execution of Topsides piping fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
7. To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the piping fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
8. To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
9. To review deviations to construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
10. Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.

Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation

• 8 years experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in a E&IT supervisory position
• Experience with multinational teams
• Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
• Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
• Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
