We are seeking an experienced Construction Specialist – Material & Preservation to support major Oil & Gas/LNG project execution.
The role will be responsible for managing material and preservation activities from the preparation stage through execution, ensuring work is delivered safely and in line with approved scope, budget, schedule, quality requirements and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee material & preservation activities associated with project execution and fabrication.
- Supervise Contractor/Subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project documentation and international standards.
- Support the development and execution of material & preservation plans.
- Ensure fabrication activities meet required Safety, Quality and Schedule objectives.
- Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.
- Review deviations against applicable construction standards and ensure consistent project dossiers.
- Monitor contractor progress and identify critical issues, delays, quality concerns and required corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Contractors/Subcontractors through Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.
- Participate in risk assessments, pre-job meetings and technical meetings.
- Contribute to REX and Lessons Learned activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of specific project execution experience.
- Previous leading experience in Material & Preservation activities within an EPC contract execution environment.
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience, including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
- Oil & Gas, contractor, service company or heavy construction experience.
- Knowledge of relevant design standards, specifications, codes and safety criteria.
- Experience covering major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution and/or hook-up.
- Knowledge of offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations.
- Understanding of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
