Construction QA/QC Engineer

My client is seeking a QA/QC Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that the project’s quality requirements are met and maintained throughout the construction process, in line with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

This is a great opportunity to join a leading energy company at the forefront of long-duration energy storage innovation. You’ll play a key role in delivering a groundbreaking Renewable Energy Storage Power Station in the North West.


The Role:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project's quality management system, including quality plans, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful integration of energy storage technologies and the alignment of project objectives.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and audits, ensuring that project designs and construction activities meet the required quality standards.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction personnel, addressing any quality-related issues or concerns that may arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices.
 Required Experience:
  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
  • Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer, preferably within the renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure sector.
  • Proven experience in EPC environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to the evolving needs of the renewable energy industry.
