Construction Superintendent (Mech-Piping)

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent (Mech-Piping) to oversee the execution and hook-up of offshore piping and mechanical equipment. The role will involve the installation and welding of exotic pipework, including CRA, Inconel and stainless steel, while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee offshore piping and mechanical installation and hook-up activities.
Ensure safe and high-quality execution of piping and mechanical works.
Support offshore activities and address technical issues as they arise.
Review job cards and task completion to ensure activities are completed according to schedule.
Monitor progress and identify gaps or challenges for management attention.
Support brownfield activities and shutdown planning as required.
Act as the offshore focal point for piping and mechanical-related technical queries.
Support Permit to Work (PTW) and daily offshore progress meetings.
Attend hook-up meetings, document reviews and risk assessments.
Support the offshore Hook-Up Head as required.
 
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in large Oil & Gas projects in construction-related disciplines, including construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion or hook-up.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience, including acting or oversight roles.
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, contractors, service companies or heavy construction companies.
Good knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes and safety requirements related to fabrication, transportation, installation, brownfield execution and hook-up.
Knowledge of offshore and onshore facilities, structures and yard operations.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience working within large-scale operating organisations.
