Construction Lead (Piping)

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Lead (Piping) to support a major LNG expansion project in Qatar.
The successful candidate will lead piping fabrication and construction execution activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery aligned with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise piping fabrication and construction execution activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and project execution standards.
• Manage contractor and subcontractor activities related to fabrication, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Review constructability, technical deliverables, and contractor progress reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project stakeholders to resolve interface issues.
• Identify project risks, delays, and quality concerns while recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in technical meetings, risk assessments, and lessons learned initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.
• Strong background in piping fabrication, installation, mechanical completion, and commissioning.
• Experience working on large-scale LNG or offshore/onshore projects.
• Good knowledge of fabrication, welding, lifting, testing, and completions.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Previous supervisory or contractor oversight experience is preferred.
