Job Profile Summary: 
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys a dynamic, hands-on, field-based work environment. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for brownfield upstream well-site construction projects and retrofits.  The Construction Lead should have proven ability to project manage, participate in engineering design reviews, understand P&ID’s, walk down pending projects, select materials and build materials lists and track costs. They will be required to lead and supervise roustabout crews, safety system testing crews, crane operations, gas lift/wellhead compression commissioning, artificial lift installations and other general day to day field level operations activities.   

Key Accountabilities:
  • Perform daily project management and oversite of brownfield roustabout construction crews
  • Project management by participating in design reviews, site walk downs, materials selection, cost tracking and project close out
  • Provide client oversite of contractor work, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Initiate improved construction practices to drive down project costs, downtime and increase safety
  • When necessary, perform corrective maintenance by trouble shooting, analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, diagnostic and reasoning ability.
 Essential Education and qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on well-site construction projects.
  • Proven experience in managing brownfield upstream well-site construction projects. 
  • Experience in conducting site walkdowns for pending projects and selecting appropriate materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop bills of materials and monitor project costs effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing construction crews and overseeing contractor work.
  • Experience in energy isolation, LOTO, and critical safety systems to ensure safe construction practices.
  • Knowledge of the Permit to Work system and ensuring its effective implementation.
